“ Never had a bad dish here or had to send anything back. Typical Chinese restaurant with panpipes for backing music, watercolour paintings and the cat with the bobbing arm on the bar. Family owned and run and if you go in more than once (which you will) they will remember you and greet you like you're an old friend. You can order for collection too. The dish we all end up fighting over is the crispy chilli beef and Cantonese fillet steak, salt and pepper anything and the starters are a decent size to share too. Our family has been coming here for years so we've tried and shared more or less all the menu multiple times. ”
“ The food has greatly improved in quality since 2009. I think new owners took over the place, as the quality of the food as well as the taste is great (and I didn't order any beer). I had spring rolls for starter, and sweet and sour chicken for the main. Both were brought to our table warm, by nice staff and in quick succession. Entered as a stranger, left as friends. Will definitely visit again. ”

“ Everyone has different tastes when it comes to food and as i love chinese food i have been to many Chinese/cantonese restaurants both on the north and south sides of Manchester. i can say without doubt that Hoyas is a cut above the rest when it comes to quality food. The Restaurant is clean and welcoming and the staff are a lovely family who do their utmost to make you welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and if you visit I'm sure you will be well looked after. I use this Restaurant on a regular basis and also use the takeaway service, There is a small car park at the rear and if full local parking should not be a problem, We are lucky to have Hoyas in the Heywood area.
